Keep the area clean and avoid chewing on that side of the mouth. If you still have the crown, place it in a safe container and bring it with you.

Rinse with warm salt water and apply a cold compress to the outside of the cheek. Contact our office as soon as possible, as untreated infections can become serious.

For Soft Tissue Bleeding
Rinse with warm water, apply gentle pressure with a clean piece of gauze, and use a cold compress to reduce swelling. If bleeding continues for more than 10 to 15 minutes, seek immediate care.
